Natasha Lorca Yannacañedo (Associate Instructor) is an Associate Professor of Acting at Eugenio María de Hostos Community College and serves as the Unit Coordinator of Visual and Performing Arts. She has been studying emotional effector patterns since 2019, incorporating this transformative work into her pedagogy and creative practice. A multifaceted artist, Natasha excels in acting, directing, and casting direction, with a diverse portfolio spanning film, radio, audio dramas, primetime television, and numerous stage productions. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater and is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Her unwavering dedication to her craft, research, and passion for lifelong learning has garnered her numerous accolades, including being named an apexart International Fellow, receiving a distinguished fellowship from the Council of American Overseas Research Centers and The Americas Research Network, and most recently, being honored with the Charles E. Scheidt Faculty Fellowship in Atrocity Prevention at Binghamton University’s Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention.
