For over a decade, Bateman has supported medical students on their journeys to becoming doctors, serving as both a simulated patient and an educator of simulated patients. She has built a steady career as an actor in film, television, and web series, earning a LEO Award for Best Comedic Actress in The Actress Diaries. Passionate about incorporating trauma-informed practices, such as The Emotional Body, into actors’ toolkits, she believes that understanding emotional effector patterns is a valuable gift for everyone.

She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
