Ines Buchli (Lead Instructor/Trainer) is an award-winning theatre director, filmmaker, and writer.  With over 35 years of experience, she has worked across Canada. She served as Associate Artistic Director for Necessary Angel Theatre and Associate Artist for Theatre Direct. Her award winning short, Foxy Lady, Wild Cherry premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and has screened around the world. Ines directed the premiere of the multimedia production of The Secret Doctrine and The Living garnering awards for Best Direction and Best Production. She is a founding member of the Emotional Fluency Project which is dedicated to promoting a safe and ethical practice for actors. Ines taught acting and directing for many years at York University, where she served as both Chair of the Theatre Department and the Graduate Programme Director. She is currently continuing her creative research in emotion and its application to acting as a Senior Scholar at York.  In 2013, Ines began training in the emotional effector patterns under the guidance of Emotional Body® method founder and Lead Instructor/Trainer, Laura Bond. Ines is currently an endorsed Emotional Body® method Lead Instructor/Trainer and Alba Method instructor. Ines is also a member of the International Association of Acting Coaches and Educators (AACE), and the Actor Wellbeing Facilitators Collective (AWFC).
