Modern life has created conditions where it has become increasingly difficult to identify and manage emotions. Anxiety disorders are the world’s most pressing mental disorder since the pandemic, with levels rising dramatically globally, with 300 million suffering from anxiety disorders (WHO). Reclaim Your Calm includes many lessons on two of the emotional effector patterns taught within the Emotional Body® method: 1a and 2a, as well as lessons on how to apply Zero/Neutral, Step Out, and many evidence-based physical restorative practices. These are the patterns and techniques that most impact our body's ability to down-regulate stress and achieve states of calm, tranquility, and feelings of positive social connections with others, improved self-esteem, physical sensuality, and overall contentment.
These lessons are just a few that we provide within a full Emotional Body® method training available within the method's entire emotion regulation course, which includes the teachings of 6 emotional effector patterns, along with several application exercises. It is, however, an excellent introductory course to help you gain perspective on the effectiveness of the method, while acquiring skills to enhance your emotional resiliency for a lifetime!
The course is taught by Laura Bond and takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete and is designed as an on-demand, learn-on-your-own-time online course with individual lessons in small 10–20-minute segments.
